Since the beginning of this fight, he has been the symbol of a generation who wanted and who needed a change in its own country. South Africa has been long enough oppressed by an antidemocratic regime. This government practiced the apartheid ,which means that there was a segregation of the black people, who had not the same rights as the white, because they were considered as inferior.The history had shown us many different practices, which ended by a total eradication of the opponents, by putting them into jail or even killing them.
